Authenticate locally

Synopsis¶

Authenticates users to VOR using the provided arguments. A successful authentication results in a Vault token - conceptually similar to a session token on a website. By default, this token is cached on the local machine for future requests.

If an auth method is not supplied via the CLI, the user will be prompted to select one if more than one is available.

To generate a token for use in authentication to the VOR APIs, use the "vor create token" command.

      --play string   playpen path
      --renew-token   renew token (default true)
