Scenario Introduction

Scenarios are integral to measuring risk and forecasting loss on portfolios.
The most common scenarios are of macroeconomic factors, but any risk factor
impacting a portfolio, directly or through models, can be outlined in a scenario.

Scenarios are kept in spreadsheets and uploaded through the UI. The UI
validates the format of scenario spreadsheets during upload, and saves the
validated scenario to the database.

The platform supports approval procedures for uploaded files.
If used, approval rights are assigned on the user profile.
